Our goal is to help you get stronger so you can live better. All you have to do is keep showing up and keep doing the work. It won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it.
To facilitate this endeavor, we offer a variety of training options including private, semi-private, and group training. We also offer 1-on-1 online coaching/programming with one of our Starting Strength Coaches. Each new member will have a private barbell clinic (“Testify Clinic”) to learn the movements.
The Testify Clinic
Joining a new gym and learning new movements can be intimidating. The Testify Clinic is a two-hour, private training session with a Starting Strength Coach (SSC) designed to teach you all you need to start strength training. This session includes instruction on the barbell movements, personalized program development, and discussion on necessary equipment. We hope you leave this session excited to conquer your strength journey.
Group Training
This is the most popular type of training. During normal gym hours, you can train alongside a host of people doing the same thing you are. Together, you can chat, laugh, and commiserate about tempo squats and paused deadlifts (don’t worry, newbies don’t do those things). There will always be a coach present for instruction, programming, and questions.
Online Training
If you don’t live in the Omaha area, you can still train with us. Using video feedback, our SSCs provide insight into your technique and programming from miles away. Plus, if you’re ever in the area, you can join the group training clan at no additional charge.
Private Training
One-on-one training done either 1, 2, or 3 times per week with a SSC. All private training clients may train during group training hours as well. This is a popular option for beginners who are unfamiliar with barbell training or for those with different work schedules.
One time Sessions
Semi-Private Training
If you don’t feel comfortable starting by yourself, then bring some friends with you! With semi-private training, groups of 2-4 people train with the guidance of a SSC. This approach allows for significant one-on-one attention while enjoying the company of friends.
In town for a visit and want to learn the lifts? We offer one time private training sessions with a SSC where you can learn and focus on any or all of the lifts you choose. These sessions are tailored to you and provide extensive instruction on technique, programing, and even competition prep.
Drop Ins
Anybody who has previously worked with a SSC can join our group training as a drop-in for $30. However, if you have not worked with a SSC, we require a 2-hr private session with one of our SSCs.
