Testify Strength & Conditioning is the only Starting Strength Affiliate Gym in Nebraska and the best strength training facility in Omaha. Our coaches use their knowledge and expertise to teach you how to get strong.

We specialize in one thing – getting strong.

At Testify, you will find people training to improve their health, athletes training to improving their performance, and grandparents training to improve their quality of life and maintain their independence. You will find barbells, squat racks, chalk, and weights. You will find coaches that care about your success, and you will find a community of people just like you.

If you’d like to get stronger but aren’t sure where to start, you’ve come to the right place. We are passionate about teaching and coaching the basic barbell lifts to every person that comes through our doors. Whether you’re a former athlete or you’ve never stepped foot in a gym before, it is our mission to help you get strong.


Our Motivation

We train to get strong.

But why is strength important?

Strength is the ability to produce force against external resistance. Every day we perform tasks that require strength. We carry grocery bags, we take out the trash, we pick up our kids or grandkids, we walk to the mailbox. All of these things require force production, and as we age, our body’s ability to produce force decreases. Over time, carrying a grocery bag becomes difficult. Picking up our grandchildren or walking to the mailbox becomes a challenge. These changes are inevitable. Unless…we get stronger. 

We get stronger so we can live better.


Our methods

Barbells are key.

We use barbells because they are the most efficient tool we have to progressively stress your body to produce a reaction, or what fancy people call an adaptation. There is an appropriate starting point for everyone. We can start at any weight (even no weight) to match your ability the first day you walk in the door. From there, we can make small increases each session to continue to produce stress and adaptation. Through this process, you become stronger.

We teach you to squat, press, bench, and deadlift because each of these movements utilizes multiple joints and stresses the entire body including your bones, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. This stress causes your body to react and adapt. Your bones get denser. Your muscles get stronger. Your tendons and ligaments get tougher. You get stronger. Every time you put more weight on the bar, your body gets stronger. At Testify, we teach you how to do this.
